Hi Everyone!
We have received several questions about the button actuation force of the Proteus Controller, and we've been conducting extensive testing to provide you with accurate data.
Our engineering team has been testing the button actuation force to ensure it meets our high standards for performance and comfort as well as to help users to make an informed decision on whether the buttons for the current version of the Proteus Controller will work for them.
Here are some photos of the tests!
Based on our tests, here are the findings:
XYAB Peripheral: 140+/-10gf
Xbox Peripheral: 140+/-10gf
DPAD Peripheral (tactile): 250+/-50gf
One Button Peripheral (tactile): 250+/-50gf
Trigger (LT|RT): 90+/-10gf
Trigger Bumper (LB|RB): 95+/-5gf
We value your feedback, which has been instrumental in our testing process. Many users have expressed a preference for a certain level of resistance in button presses, which we've considered in our initial design. Your insights are crucial for our continuous improvement.
Users have also requested lighter button actuation force options and we are doing R&D around some solutions here, so keep an eye out!
We encourage you to keep sharing your thoughts and experiences with us. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us deliver the best gaming experience possible and we are working hard to provide the best solution we can!
This information will be added to the website in the next few days.
