How to use the Proteus Controller and Proteus Builder on Nintendo Switch 1 & 2

Did you know that you can use your Proteus Controller and Proteus Builder on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 with the Brook Wingman XE 2 Super Converter. 

Before you get started, make sure you are running the latest Firmware on both your Brook Wingman XE 2 Super Converter and on your Power Cubes (see below for more info)

Before you connect the converter to the Switch dock, make sure you have turned on "Pro Controller Wired Communication" in System Settings on Switch.

Get Started - Plug and Play

1. Plug the Brook Wingman XE 2 into the USB port on your Nintendo Switch dock
2. Plug your Proteus wireless dongle into the Wingman converter
3. Turn on your Proteus Controller—it will pair automatically
4. Hold down the Xbox button and Up on the Dpad to enter 'Switch mode'

 

Note - Both V1 and V2 Power Cubes will work with this converter

Troubleshooting - Update your Firmware

Update Your Brook Converter for Switch 2

If you're using the Switch 2, make sure your Wingman XE 2 has the latest firmware installed.

Update Your Proteus Firmware

Make sure both your Power Cubes are on the latest firmware. Any firmware shared after this date should work.
